The authors used a survey to assess the facultys perceptions on carrying firearms on campuses in the five Great Lakes States. The study results showed a majority of the faculty felt safe at 97%, but they were also against carrying concealed weapons on and off-campus. Demographically, male members who supported the Republican Party were more likely to support the right to carry concealed weapons.
